Terms and Conditions

These are the terms and conditions at Academia Hispánica, please ask us should you have any query, and once you are sure that you have understood everything, sign the form and return it via email. Receipt of this document, signed by yourself, as well as a payment of 20% of the total amount due for the course booked with Academia Hispánica, reserves your place in one of our classrooms!

Payment Methods : 20% of the total amount due to Academia Hispánica for any course due is considered to be the deposit required by the school to finalise your booking. This amount should be sent via bank transfer using the details below. The rest of the cost of the course a maximum of 1 week before the start of the course in order to ensure that the course starts on time. Courses will not be considered as reserved until complete payment has been received by the school.

When making the transfer, please include your name and the dates of your course where possible in order for the school to be able to confirm receipt of the deposit. Please contact the school if you do not receive confirmation of the receipt of payment from the school within three working days of making the payment. Should you not be able to make a payment via bank transfer, please contact the school to make other arrangements.

Cancellation Policy: Academia Hispánica will refund all the course costs, except the deposit, in the case of cancellations made a maximum of 15 days prior to the beginning of any course. Any cancellations made within 15 days of the beginning of a course, or once a course has already started, will result in loss of any payment made to the school, except in the case of extraordinary cases which are supported by documentation. Cancellation of classes due to force majeure will not be the considered the liability of the school, and refunds will not be made.

Starting Dates, Class Schedules, and Public Holidays: Students can start a General Spanish course every Monday. DELE Intensive courses begin 4 weeks before the next upcoming DELE exam. Class changes – for whatever reason – can be made on Mondays and Tuesdays.

 

*In the case that there is only one student in a class for the general intensive course, the student has 10 private classes rather than 20 group classes.

Speaking classes, i.e. classes from 13.30 onwards can take place inside or outside the school once agreed upon by teachers and students of a speaking class.

Public holidays which fall on weekdays are not made up. The public holidays in Córdoba are the following:

The school does not give classes between 20th December and 7th January of the following year.

School Opening Hours: The reception desk and concierge will be open between 9.30 - 13.30 and from 16:30 – 20:30 from Monday to Friday and can be located on the ground floor of the Hispánica building.
